Karen Bausman will bring to life some of the more intriguing stories about the city's skyscrapers and some of the characters who inhabited them for a nationwide audience this fall in "Secrets in The Sky: The Towers of Gotham," an Emmy-nominated program from NYC TV. Ms. Bausman, a guest commentator, was filmed at The Cooper Union Foundation Building, a national historic landmark and considered to be a prototype of modern skyscraper design.

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg recently announced that four episodes of the NYC TV series “Secrets of New York," including “Secrets in The Sky: The Towers of Gotham," will be aired on PBS stations across the United States, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, Washington, D.C., Houston, and New York.  It is NYC TV’s first foray into programming for a national audience.

“Secrets of New York," a half-hour program hosted by Emmy-nominated local television personality Kelley Choi, is NYC TV’s highest-rated series. The "Secrets in The Sky: The Towers of Gotham" episode, produced by Buboo Kakati and Harry Hunkele, first premiered on March 7, 2006.
