Karen Bausman’s current building projects in a lengthy feature
interview about her groundbreaking design work.
Ms. Bausman is currently designing numerous new buildings for Soundview
Park and Ferry Point Park in the Bronx, two of eight new destination
parks being developed under Mayor Bloomberg’s PlaNYC 2030 initiative
for a greener, greater New York.
Karen Bausman received her professional degree in architecture from the
Cooper Union School of Architecture in 1982. She received the
President’s Citation for Outstanding Contributions to the Field of
Architecture from her alma mater in 1994.
