DESCRIPTION
Time is the moving image of eternity -- Plato

Tracing Airy's Circle proposes to reevaluate the nature of time, power and politics in a radically changing global environment.

Starting at the Prime Meridian at London's Royal Observatory, where time measure was at once a sign of new-found creativity and an agent and catalyst in the use of knowledge for wealth and power, and working across a synthetic horizon, a series of new timeworks recalibrate the passage of night to day; darkness into light, creating a newly perceived phenomenon of time where the principles of government and commerce cease to exist.

This series of monoprints capture opacity and light; darkness and shadow, and are based on physical architectonic models.
