KAREN BAUSMAN: GRID, INTERRUPTED

WOMEN IN ARCHITECTURE

City College of New York School of Architecture, Urban Design
and Landscape Architecture

Karen Bausman straddles the world of art and architecture with two distinct and powerful bodies of work, each of which combine precise execution with a soulful appreciation of materials and subject. Her work as an architect has been hailed by Architecture magazine as “the shape of things to come” while her work as a fine artist has been the subject of numerous exhibitions and commissions.

Ms. Bausman will debut her plans for a large-scale sculptural installation currently slated for Summer 2011.
